Chardonnay
The Chardonnay grape is considered the most noble of white wine producing grapes. Chardonnay grapes are grown in all of the wine producing areas of the world, and are appreciated for their depth and richness.
Cakebread California (Napa Valley)-This very aromatic Chardonnay offers delightfully forward aromas of ripe pears and apples, with scents and guava and banana. On the palate, it boasts a full, fleshy texture and rich, ripe flavors balanced by subtle, spicy oak tones.
Charles Krug California (Napa Valley)-Tight with citrus, apples and pear flavors and high acidity. It is a bracing wine that stimulates the taste buds. Winemaker effects include plenty of sweet oak, it is still lean and angular.
Clos du Bois California Reserve (Russian River Valley)-This Reserve Chardonnay is rich in apple, pear, and white peach flavors accented with hints of spice and creamy oak.

Rutz Cuvee (Russian River)-Smooth, rich and creamy on the palate, this young Chardonnay offers a full array of flavors including spice, pear, apple, pineapple and guava. Keeps its fruity focus through the finish, while light oak adds a nice touch.
Robert Young (Alexander Valley)-family owned estate bottled wine that has all of the nuances of fresh strawberries and prunes. Truly a Sonoma favorite.
Sauvignon Blanc
Sauvignon Blanc and Fumé Blanc wines are enjoyed for their great balance of fruit and acidity. These unique wines are perfect with light meals and seafood.
Joel Gott California (Monterey)-sourced from three distinct vineyards in the Napa Valley. Each vineyard provides fruit that exhibit unique varietal characteristics that culminate and allow for a blended style of Sauvignon Blanc that has zesty, herbal and citrus aromas with tropical, grapefruit and mineral flavors. Rock Rabbit (Central Coast)-light and fruity, in the style of New Zealand but substituting hints of peach and lemon for grapefruit flavors common with those vareitals.
Niner (Boot Jack Ranch Paso Robles)-crisp, refreshing wine that has a way of satisfying each palate in its own special manner. Aromatic with apple and pear frangrances.
Other White Wines
Many types of white wine grapes are grown throughout the world. These wines vary greatly from dry to sweet and light to heavy. They each go well with appetizersm salads, seafood, and poultry.
Columbia Riesling Washington (Columbia Valley)-This Riesling offers frangrant honey, pear and apricot aromas that lead to delectably sweet fruity flavors with a crisp, refreshing acidity.
Firestone Riesling California (Central Coast)-Light greenish color, fresh and attractive; bright apple, floral aromas, fine depth; medium bodied, lively on the palate with a nice layered effect, good structure; off-dry, medium acid, balanced; pleasing flavors of ripe apple and floral notes, a hint of apricot, medium depth; medium finish, easy aftertaste.

Folie à Deuz Menage a Trois White California (Napa Valley)-an artful blend of varietals with core fruit and aromatic notes of lime blossom, peach, and honeysuckle.
King Estate Pinot Gris Oregon (Coastal)-Brilliant golden straw color exhibits intense tropical fruit aromas suggesting papaya and mango, with apricot, honey and nutmeg accents.

Woop Woop Verdelho (South Australia)-In Australia, woopwoop means far away, as in the "boonies." This unoaked 100% Verdelho exhibits crisp, elegant, citrus, guava, and mango characteristics as well as medium body, fresh acidity, and surprising elegance and minerality.
Belle Valée Cellars (Oregon)-Crisp, clean and refreshing with lively and tangy flavors leaving you with a juicy mouthful of peaches and pears.
Malpe (Torrontes)-Malpe was the Lord of the Winds for the ancient Andean Indians. The grapes that produce this white wine were grown at 5500 feet above sea level, and provide an intense and zesty aroma.
Les Salices Viognier (Vin de Pays)-The only French wine in this category on our wine list, so you know this one has to be special. Finished in oak for roundness, this wine offers flavors of lemongrass and apricot. Very pale straw color. Fresh and floral aromas are typical of the variety, although this one's on the delicate side. Tart and crisp in flavor, fresh white fruit and tangy acidity make it a good food companion; simple but clean and balanced, a good expression of Viognier.

Rosé and Blush Wines
These wines are light and refreshing with a slightly sweet finish.
Beringer White Zinfandel California (Napa Valley)-After crushing, the juice from the grapes is left in contact with the skins for three hours to extract a light ruby hur, reminiscent of plum blossoms. A slow, cool fermentation was used to highlight the wine's fresh aromas and flavors of summer berries. (available by the glass)

Cabernet Sauvignon
Cabernet Sauvignon is synonymous with the world's truly great wines. Its full flavor makes it delightful with rich dishes, especially red meat.
Amizetta Estate California (Napa Valley)-100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Intensely dark ruby color with aromas of black fruits. On the palate it has plenty of muscle and flavors of blackberry, black cherry, cocoa, and terroir complexity.
Cherryblock California (Sonoma)-Cherryblock vineyards surround the Sebastiani Sonoma Valley winery. Formerly a cherry orchard, the land has proven ideal for late-harvesting Cabernet Sauvignon. Moderate yields from the nine acres of old vines (about forty years old) of small, red-blue berries result in concentrated, opulent wines. Dark garnet color, ripe cherry, herbal-tea and earthy, truffle aromas, medium body.
Dominus California (Napa Valley)-This very generous and well-ripened offering starts out with an involving display of cherries, cassis, herbs, sweet oak and loam in its deep and decidedly complex aromas, and it follows with equally wide-ranging flavors that show a real sense of layering and plenty of depth. Ripe, but always in balance and firmed by a good dose of youthful tannins.
Duckhorn California (Napa Valley)-A full-bodied wine with an integrated palate structure, firm ripe tannins, and a lingering finish. The aroma is bright with a mix of raspberry, black currant, blueberry, and a floral note underscored by tobacco and oak. The flavors are subdued but complex with ripe cherry, blackberry, and blueberry followed by and a spicy hint of pepper.
Franciscan California (Napa Valley)-A nice Cabernet with underlying flavors of blackberry, smooth tannin and elegant acidity with a generous dollop of oak.
Grgich Hills California (Napa Valley)-Nicely balanced between fruit and tannin, this elegant wine is rich with aromas of black cherry, crushed rose petals and cocoa powder. This full bodied wine goes well with roasted meats, grilled Portobello mushrooms or a firm cow’s milk cheese such as Edam or Gouda.
Guenoc California (Central Coast)-Garnet shades, bright black and red cherry aromas, loads of red fruit and a full-bodied mouth feel are typical of this blend of some of the finest of California vineyards. A long, silky finish hints of elegant structure, promising excellent cellaring potential. Aged 18 months in 60-gallon oak barrels and oak casks. Merlot
Due to its richness and smooth drinkability, Merlot is now the most popular red wine in the United States.
14 Hands Washington (Columbia Valley) – Classic Washington Merlot. Flavors of blackberry and spice are enhanced by a splash of Cabernet Sauvignon for structure and complexity with a velvety finish.
Duckhorn California (Napa Valley) – A rich and deftly balanced yet muscular red, with layers of complex currant, spice, wild berry and plum fruit that’s focused and pure. Shows off a nice touch of cedary-vanilla oak, which adds a nice flavor dimension and the tannins add structure. Finishes with complexity and length.
Jean-Pierre Moueix St. Emillion– France (Bordeaux) – Considerable style to its plum, herb and flashy oak flavors. It is smooth, well-balanced and has a lingering finish
. Kendall Jackson California (“Vintner’s Reserve”) – A nice, plumy wine with some real richness. Round, full-bodied and firm, with a coffee-earthy finish that sets off the fruit.

Rombauer California (Napa Valley) – This wine is deliciously rich and concentrated. It has layers of black cherry, plum, clove and cinnamon in both the aroma and flavor. The wine has a long finish of cherry and plum with a light vanilla note from oak aging. Supple tannins ad to the wine’s character.
Fransiscan California (Napa Valley) – Creamy mocha and oak flavors are immersed in this wine, complementing the ripe cherry and currant undertones. Lots of oak in the finish.
Twomey California (Napa Valley) – From the makers of Silver Oak, this firmly structured Merlot offers notes of grilled herbs, chocolate, freshly brewed espresso, and cherry liqueur. Tastes like California’s version of a top notch Pomerol.
Pinot Noir
The most delicate of grape varietals, Pinot Noir is the grape used in making the classic wines of Burgundy, France. Unlike its Cabernet and Merlot counterparts, Pinot Noir is much more versatile with food.
Martin Ray"Angeline" California (Sonoma)—A brilliant ruby color with aromas of strawberry, raspberry and overtones of smoked tea and spice. Bright flavors of strawberry, layered with a subtle touch of vanilla oak, lead to a rich, full fruit finish.
Belle Glos California (Santa Maria)—A light cinnabar in the glass, this wine has a very pretty, high toned nose of cranberry, orange mulling spices and ginger. In the mouth, it has a silky mouthfeel, excellent acid balance, and very spicy flavors of pomegranate, cinnamon and rosehips. Finished with hints of clove and black pepper.
Echelon California (Central Coast)—Brilliant ruby color with good intensity and depth with a young purple hue on the edges. Cherries, cloves and rose petals with a sweet oak background dominate the aroma. The flavors are richly layered with ripe, dark cherry fruit, medium tannins and a lingering, slightly oaky finish.
Joseph Drouhin "Laforet" France (Burgundy)—This Pinot Noir has a brilliant ruby-garnet color, with aromas of red currant, black currant and raspberry. Its fresh and fruity flavors with light and elegant tannins make it very pleasant to drink.
Poppy California (Santa Barbara)—In this Pinot Noir you will taste the fruit flavors first, in this case red cherry and raspberry followed by hints of allspice and tasty oak with long satiny finish. (available by the glass)
Saintsbury California (Carneros)—Sweet oak is the constant companion and sometime challenger to well-ripened cherries in both the aromas and flavors of this nicely filled Pinot Noir, but, in the end, the wine happily claims fruit as its guiding light.
Belle Vallee (Willamette Valley) - not a whole lot has to be said about this wine, aged in French oak for 11 months this earthy, dark fruit infused pinot noir has it all.
Syrah, Shiraz and Petite Sirah
While Syrah and Shiraz are the same grape variety grown in different areas, Petite Sirah is a totally different grape. Syrah/Shiraz tend to be more fruit forward with spicy, earthy undertones. Petite Sirah is usually dark and inky with bold peppery flavors.
Guenoc Petite Sirah California (Central Coast)—Black purple hues embrace blackberry, chocolate and orchid aromas and open into mouth-filling flavors. Fifteen months in American oak endowed this lovely wine with hints of spice and toast.
Bulletin Place Shiraz Australia (South Eastern)—Mint leaves and young sage do well to cover the aromas of wilted greens with plenty of caramel, toast and grape jam that extend to the palate. The finish is tinged with herbal qualities and white pepper. (available by the glass)

Zinfandel is indigenous to the United States and has become one of the world’s most consumed wines. Red and spicy, Zinfandel is great anytime!
Gnarly Head "Old Vines" California (Paso Robles)—Bouquet of red raspberries, ripe strawberries, spices and vanilla. Raspberry and citrus flavors are balanced by dusty, ripe tannins and a smooth texture. (available by the glass)
Steele “Catfish Vineyards" California (Lake County)—Firm and spicy with a firm band of earthy iron and flint, giving the raspberry and cranberry flavors a complex edge, finishing with mineral like tannins.
Rombauer California (Sonoma)—Has a lush, aromatic medley of ripe blackberries, boysenberries and raspberries in the aroma along with notes of pepper and spice. The wine is full flavored with an abundance of fresh, dark berry fruit and hints of currants

Barrahonda Carro Tinto Spain (Murcia)—Carro is an interesting blend that benefits from the different features of each grape. Monastrell provides the meaty touch, Syrah the chocolate notes and Tempranillo the joyful fruit and bountiful nose.
Folie à Deux California (Napa Valley)—This blend of Zinfandel, Cabernet and Merlot exposes the fresh, ripe, jam-like fruit that is the calling card of California wines. The finish is soft and spicy. (available by the glass)
